    A Day in the Life:

    As The Construction Laborer you will assist the Assistant Superintendent with ensuring a safe construction environment by making sure that property grounds are clean and free of debris at all times.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Ensure property grounds are clean and free of debris and that all external fixtures are clean and in working order
    • Inspect property, pick up trash and debris, vacuum and or use power washer and reports all safety hazards or repair needs to Assistant Superintendent
    • Sweep parking lot areas, walkways, entryways and hallways as well as wash down courtyards and other cement areas
    • Clean lights and globes in common areas
    • Move/Clean trash dumpsters and surrounding areas
    • Empty trash cans around the common grounds of property
    • Assist in moving appliances, heat pumps, planters, garbage cans and supplies 
    • Visually inspect sprinkler heads and report any damage 
    • Unload truck when supplies are delivered and stock in proper areas
    • Paint trim of common areas, curbs or other areas as required

    What You’ll Need to Succeed:

    • Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
    • Ability to work in an active construction job site and adhere to all safety rules, including wearing personal protective equipment as required 
    • Ability to operate jack hammer, shovel dirt/debris, dig trench as necessary
    • Deliver innovative ideas to enhance the look of the property
    • Ensure a safe and hazard free living and working environment
    • Take the initiative to train and develop using the exceptional resources provided
