    A Day in the Life:

    As our Marketing Account Specialist, responsibilities will consist of overseeing appropriate multi-property advertising, marketing and event opportunities in an effort to maximize exposure of our Alliance brand. While providing top-level management to the assigned portfolio by engaging with internal resources and participating in strategic planning, your role will monitor community marketing initiatives and ensure that efforts ultimately increase revenue and drive occupancy. Establishing relationships with Alliance operations and development associates for the designated portfolio and acting as a main point of contact between properties, project management, and the marketing department for streamlined communication are the keys to your success.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Create and manage all project timelines for assigned portfolio
    • Work with the creative team, digital team and the social media manager for all graphic design, copy, printing and online marketing needs 
    • Manage and assign property and regional level request to Marketing Account Coordinator
    • Review monthly audits of online efforts for designated portfolio; provide feedback and recommendations for adjustments 
    • Review properties reputation and ensure responses are in accordance with Alliance policy
    • Maintain knowledge of team members needed to accomplish tasks 
    • Communicate and work with the appropriate operations personnel throughout the review/approval process for all items, and assist with issue resolution as needed
    • Provide insight into historical time quotes on projects
    • Report on project requests, revision history and average project timelines
    • Oversee and assist with the transition process for new and existing communities
    • Possess a broad understanding of marketing projects ranging from branding work, campaign development, production projects and digital initiatives to reporting and strategy

    What You’ll Need to Succeed:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2+ years of project management experience in an agency or in-house marketing setting
    • Experience working with project management software; Workamajig preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
