    A Day in the Life:

    As our Superintendent you will lead and manage the work of Alliance associates and subcontractors, at your assigned multifamily construction project, by utilizing your expertise in real estate development. You will be responsible for monitoring and driving the quality of work performed and safety on a new building project, from start to finish, while acting as a liaison between the Owner and the Architect.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assist in managing and maintaining the project schedule, subcontractor specialty schedules, and short interval schedule as required to guide construction through successful completion
    • Plan and review the construction program with the Project Manager including procedures, job layout, equipment, and systems
    • Work hand in hand with the Project Manager in regards to scheduling, workflow, and team expectations of Alliance associates and subcontractors assigned to the project
    • Monitor project costs while implementing ways to minimize expenses and maximize profits, while maintaining excellent quality
    • Schedule and chair pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and suppliers
    • Facilitate regularly scheduled coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers, to effectively direct and monitor all activities
    • Maintain and update the Daily Project Reports documenting the progress of the project, as well as any areas that may affect timely completion of the planned activities
    • Coordinate, direct, and schedule all test and inspection activities of agencies and government authorities.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • BA preferred
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Superintendent or Multifamily Construction experience
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • A high standard of accuracy and detail orientation
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships various entities
